Edinburgh Law School students win Elaine Tyre Client Consultation Competition
Edinburgh University students Rebecca Millar and Matthew McPherson have won the Elaine Tyre Client Consultation Competition, the Scottish final of the International Client Consultation Competition, which is hosted by Edinburgh Law School.
The pair beat teams from four other diploma in professional legal practice providers - Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities.
Director of pro bono and clinical legal education Rebecca Samaras said on LinkedIn: “After a full day in which all students impressed the judges with their interviewing skills, the team of Rebecca Millar and Matthew McPherson from Edinburgh Law School were announced the winners and will go on to represent Scotland at the International Finals in April.
“Congratulations to them and to all students who participated.”
She added: “A special thanks to all judges for giving up their day and to everyone involved in making the event a thoroughly enjoyable experience and learning opportunity for all our students.”
