Emily Wiewiorka joins Bellwether Green
Emily Wiewiorka is returning to private practice as a consultant with Bellwether Green.
The well-regarded commercial contracts, IP and data lawyer left private practice to take up an in-house position with global mobile smartphone company a number of years ago.
Following her relocation from Dubai to Seattle, she established her own successful commercial cleaning business, all the while maintaining part-time advisory roles with various tech companies.
Credited with writing the annotated notes to the Data Protection Act 1998, Ms Wiewiorka has a particular interest in security of data.
Her remit at Bellwether Green includes: commercial contracts, procurement, outsourcing, intellectual property, technology licensing and OEM agreements.
April Bingham, head of corporate at Bellwether Green, said: “We are delighted to have Emily working with us. It’s a real coup to have her choose our firm for her return to private practice. I know that our clients are going to love her and find her advice invaluable.”
