Environmental law specialist at Davidson Chalmers accredited by Law Society
The certification comes in recognition of her wide experience accumulated over a number of years dealing with complex and demanding legal cases within this area.
The Law Society of Scotland’s specialist accreditation scheme was established in 1990 to recognise the exceptional quality and skill of expert lawyers.
Around 450 solicitors have been granted this status following thorough analysis of a minimum five years’ experience within a particular field of law where they have demonstrated exceptional competence.
The assessment panel is made up of solicitor members experienced in the appropriate area of the law who are drawn from a range of government, public sector and other relevant organisations.
Commenting on her newly secured accreditation, Ms Tainsh said: “I’m really pleased to have had my experience recognised by the Law Society of Scotland.
“Providing specialist technical advice to clients who are dealing with demanding environmental law issues is a very satisfying challenge and one I continue to relish.”
Andrew Chalmers, managing partner at Davidson Chalmers, said: “Laura’s strong focus on environmental law is a great example of how Davidson Chalmers is committed to providing specialist legal and commercial advice to its clients.
“Having been with this firm since qualification, she has worked incredibly hard over the years and her recognition is well deserved.”
