Event: Adult support and care – lessons from the World Congress in Argentina

Tickets are still available for a talk on the human rights of elderly people and adults with incapacity. It will take place in the newly refurbished SSC Lounge in Edinburgh on 21 November 6pm
Adrian Ward and Sarah Prentice attended the World Congress on Adult Capacity in Buenos Aires Argentina in August 2024. They will present their lessons learned from the event and how different countries have implemented the United Nations Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities. They will also comment on the future of elder and capacity law.
The talk will last about an hour. It will qualify for one hour of CPD and will be accompanied by refreshments. The event is free.
