A seminar organised by the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law will look on the role that the courts, and the Supreme Court in particular, have played in shaping Scotland’s devolution settlement.
Paul Reid KC will discuss his experience in devolution litigation as first standing junior counsel for the Scottish government.
Josep Maria Tirapu, will then consider some of the most significant Supreme Court decisions in the context of devolution from the perspective of his work on the role of courts in plurinational systems.
