Eversheds Sutherland’s Edinburgh team relocates to Capital Square
Eversheds Sutherland has relocated its team in Edinburgh to Capital Square, a new development located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Exchange district.
The firm has increased its office space with the relocation to Capital Square. This newly built venue is already a base for law firms including Pinsent Masons, Brodies and Anderson Strathern, along with other professional services firms such as Stantec and Mazars.
Capital Square recently won the British Council for Offices Award for best commercial workplace, and includes a garden terrace area for informal breakout space and formal entertaining.
The Eversheds Sutherland office design combines traditional workstations alongside collaborative and individual spaces, designed to support a blended working approach. This agile layout includes social and quiet working areas to support wellbeing, and is expected to be certified to BREEAM excellent.
Euan Smith, Edinburgh senior office partner, said: “Our new workplace has been designed to be a fantastic space for our people to collaborate, to innovate, to learn from one another and strengthen and celebrate our culture. It was important to us to deliver a space which brought our teams together and provided them with an excellent working environment.
“This move is also part of the firmwide programme of major investment to improve the physical working environment of all our colleagues and supports the expectations of our clients.”
