Family disputes both home and abroad to feature at next month’s Family Law Conference

The widening reach of Scots family lawyers will be a key theme at CLT Scotland’s Family Law Conference taking place exclusively in-person on Monday 30 October at Murrayfield Stadium.

Chaired by Marika Franceschi of Franceschi Family Law, topics to be covered will include the durability of agreements, pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and upon separation and divorce, coercive control in post separation negotiations, international family law disputes, how to defend a 1980 Hague Convention case, businesses on divorce and separation, reforms to surrogacy law and the likely impact of recent key cases.

Marika will be joined on the speaking panel by Ruth Croman of Macnabs, Marisa Cullen from Family Law Matters, Turcan Connell’s Lindsey Ogilvie, Marie Clark of Arnot Manderson Advocates, Amy Donachie from Westwater Advocates, Brodies’ Tom Boulton-Jones and Myra Eadie.
