Faryma Bahrami joins Terra Firma Chambers
Terra Firma Chambers is delighted to announce that Faryma Bahrami has joined the stable having called to the bar on Friday.
Following completion of her traineeship at a civil law firm in Glasgow, Ms Bahrami accepted a position as assistant public solicitor on the British Overseas Territory of St Helena where she practised both civil and criminal law.
Ms Bahrami represented citizens in both the St Helena Magistrates Courtand St Helena Supreme Court, against the St Helena government.
In cases involving citizens on both sides, she acted as mediator, advisor to the lay advocates and as amicus curiae as required.
Ms Bahrami has experience in contract, commercial law, property, landlord and tenant, conveyancing, succession, and unjustified enrichment and, during her devilling, she undertook a wide variety of work including: public law, insolvency, director’s disqualification, contract, professional negligence, succession, employment contracts, SPSO matters, construction and banking.
She has been a member of the Glasgow Human Rights Network since its formation in 2011.
