The tournament saw businesses including Shepherds, Graham and Sibbald, Entrust, MMG Accountants, Jon Frullani Architect, Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, Henderson Logie, DC Thomson and many more come together at Soccerworld in Dundee to raise money for their chosen charity.

In the end it was chartered surveyors Shepherds who won bragging rights but the charities sharing in the £1,700 fundraising pot were the real winners.

Thorntons trainee Ben Ager said: “It is part of our culture to engage with our clients and the local business community, which aligned perfectly with the spirit of the tournament. We thought a five-a-side tournament would be the perfect opportunity to get everyone together, have fun and of course, have some healthy competition!

“It was a fantastic afternoon with worthy winners and a great amount raised for local charities. We are already excited to organise the next event.”
