A court had to be closed after sewage from a faulty toilet flooded the reception area.
A ceiling was also reported to be “stained brown” with dirty water at Dundee Sheriff Court.
The leak, which occurred over the Bank Holiday weekend, was discovered yesterday.
A “foul smell” was reported by people entering the building and business had to be transferred to the JP court as the main sheriff court building was closed and cleaned up.
It is due to re-open today.
