Frank Gallagher
Scottish Legal News regrets to report the passing of Frank Gallagher of Mackinnon Advocates.
The Faculty said in a statement: “The Faculty of Advocates is saddened to hear of the sudden death of one our practising members, Frank Gallagher. He was a popular member of Faculty and highly regarded by his colleagues.
“We send our condolences to his family and his four children, who were the light of his life.”
Mackinnon Advocates said: “This is a very sad time for us all. We have lost a fine friend - a modest, humble and respected member of our Stable of Advocates - he will be sorely missed.”
Mr Gallagher, a very experienced member of the criminal bar, was admitted to Faculty on 21 December 1990. He was a graduate of the University of Glasgow (MA. LLB, Dip LP) and was an an advocate depute between 2001 - 2004.
