Fred Mackintosh QC calls to English bar
Terra Firma’s Fred Mackintosh QC has today called to the bar of England & Wales where he will practise in the field of extradition law at Great James Street Chambers in London.
Mr Mackintosh is one of Scotland’s leading extradition counsel and now extends his practice to London and requested persons arrested in England and Wales. The same legislative scheme applies to extradition cases in both Scotland and south of the border.
Terra Firma has 11 dual-qualified members, including seven silks.
Mr Mackintosh said: “I am delighted to join the team at Great James Street Chambers. Extradition is a necessarily small field in Scotland and I look forward to the opportunity to represent requested persons in a wider range of case the courts of England and Wales.”
