Gabriella Lipschitz

Ms Lipschitz obtained her LLB and diploma from the University of Edinburgh and is currently a research assistant to the author of the 8th edition of Thomson on Family Law in Scotland, which is due to be published later this year.

She has a long-standing interest in family and child law and also tutors on the undergraduate family law LLB course at Edinburgh.

During her undergraduate degree, she was selected to be a part of the Freedom of Expression Legal Clinic and worked alongside practising advocates on international casework and drafting submissions to the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention for a year.

She was also published in the Edinburgh Student Law Review in 2020, writing on the unique challenges to children’s digital rights in the 21st century.
