Gillespie Macandrew underscores growth with new hires and promotions
Gillespie Macandrew has invested in its business through a number of significant promotions and hires over the last 12 months.
As part of its overall recruitment since May 2018, the firm has added to its senior leadership team with the promotion of two new partners: Chris Gibson in the corporate team in September and Lianne Lodge in private client in March.
The firm’s offices in Perth and Glasgow have also seen new management appointments as Murray Soutar and Greg Peebles, both partners, have taken on leadership roles.
Further significant hires in the last year have included Andrew Yule, who joined the commercial property team as legal director, and Heather Clark, who joined the dispute resolution team as an associate.
In September, Andrew Leslie was promoted to associate and Jamie Reid and Grace Watson were promoted to senior solicitors, while earlier this year Sarah Jane Macdonald, Jennifer Munro, and Arlene Taylor were promoted to associate; and Caitlin Keegan was made senior solicitor.
Robert Graham-Campbell, CEO of Gillespie Macandrew, said: “We have made some strong hires in the last year and continued the success of our Training Academy with two more internal promotions to partner, demonstrating our commitment to nurturing and developing talent and leadership.
“We’ve had a busy 12 months, including the recent expansion of our Glasgow office into its new location of 163 West George Street, and we’re looking forward to the opportunities this will afford us.”
