Gillian Campbell to lead Shepherd and Wedderburn’s north of Scotland private client practice
Shepherd and Wedderburn has appointed partner and private client specialist Gillian Campbell to lead its offering to private individuals and families, business owners and entrepreneurs in the north of Scotland.
Ms Campbell, who is based in the firm’s Aberdeen office, is a highly regarded private client practitioner who advises individuals and families on a broad range of private client matters, ranging from complex executry work to trusts and inheritance tax planning. She joins Shepherd and Wedderburn from Burnett & Reid, where she previously headed up its private client practice.
She is a qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the global professional association for practitioners specialising in family inheritance and succession planning. She also holds the STEP advanced certificate for UK tax for international clients, and tutors on the private client course on the University of Aberdeen’s Diploma in Professional Legal Practice course.
Ms Campbell leads Shepherd and Wedderburn’s private client offering in Aberdeen and the north of Scotland, and will be working with recognised specialists in the firm’s rural, corporate and property teams to provide comprehensive support to clients.
