Gillian Treasurer appointed to sportscotland board

Gillian Treasurer
The minister for social care, mental wellbeing and sport has announced the appointment of Gillian Treasurer as a member of sportscotland.
Ms Treasurer, one of five appointees, is director of legal and governance at British and Irish Lions, and is an experienced sports professional.
She is currently playing a key role as part of the Lions executive team as the Lions prepare to travel to Australia for one of the world’s biggest sporting spectacles in 2025.
In her previous role at Scottish Rugby, she was responsible for providing legal support to all aspects of the organisation, with a particular focus on commercial and operational work.
Prior to her time working at Scottish Rugby, she was a senior solicitor at the Welsh Rugby Union.
