Gilson Gray doubles Edinburgh office capacity
Gilson Gray has doubled the capacity of its centrally located Edinburgh office after rapid growth in its first three years.
The firm’s Edinburgh office, based at 29 Rutland Square in the heart of Edinburgh’s financial district, has expanded into the neighbouring four storey building at 25 Rutland Square, increasing its capital operations by more than 5,000 square foot.
Following on the back of the 3,500 square foot expansion of its Glasgow office in 2016, the move will enable the full service firm to cater for further additions to its team, made possible following growth since its 2014 launch across both cities.
Glen Gilson, managing partner, said: “We are fortunate that the support of our clients and the Scottish business community has enabled us to grow so quickly and safely.
“The Edinburgh based expansion, together with our similar move in Glasgow, affords the firm the ability to significantly expand our market share. We believe that we are leading the growth curve without requiring the assistance of an English parent and can offer a truly competitive product that the market has long required.
“Our turnover and profit have grown significantly over the first three financial years, yet we generally can offer a more efficient price point for clients. This is because the firm was designed from launch to meet market need and make money, without the baggage of the traditionalistic law firm model. Clients are responding to this.”
