Gilson Gray hires PwC marketing director
Gilson Gray has appointed Vanessa Kennedy (pictured) as marketing director in a newly created role.
Ms Kennedy has more than 20 years of marketing and brand experience most recently with PwC - as well as the likes of STV and Macdonald Hotels.
The Aberdonian joins the firm shortly after its major 5000 square foot expansion into a neighbouring Rutland Square townhouse and 3500 square foot expansion to its Glasgow office.
She said: “Making this move has been all about the firm – the ethos, the staff and the underlying drive all fit perfectly with where I want to be.
“We have some of the most talented people in their fields which made me jump at the chance to be a part of the team.
“It is very evident that everyone at Gilson Gray is here for a reason and that is reflected in the work here, both from the point of view as an insider and for customers and clients who can be sure they will be getting the very best, no matter what.”
Glen Gilson, managing partner at Gilson Gray, said: “We pride ourselves on attracting the brightest and best in everything that we do and Vanessa is yet more proof of that.
“Her work in the past and her ambition going forward make her the perfect fit for Gilson Gray – I have no doubt she will continue to impress.”
Managing director Matthew Gray, added: “It is clear already that Vanessa has both the ability and the outlook that will see her succeed along with the firm.”
