Gilson Gray rounds of fundraising year with charity gift trawl
Staff members at Gilson Gray have been travelling around the country to collect gifts for charity for the annual Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign.
Their efforts have managed to collect well over 2,000 gifts which will play a huge role in ensuring children from disadvantaged backgrounds can enjoy the festive spirit.
Vanessa Kennedy, marketing director at Gilson Gray, said: “We have an exceptional team here at Gilson Gray. Our ambition is to be the best law firm in the country, be it in terms of how we try to help the community or assist a client.
“When Steven Jansch, head of insolvency asked if anyone could lend him a hand a few of us Elfed up and hit the road. We are absolutely delighted to be able to help Cash for Kids as it’s such a worthy cause that helps to put a smile on many less fortunate children’s faces this Christmas.
“We’ve previously undertaken challenges such as abseiling for charity but this time we got in our vans to travel around and collect the amazing presents.
“We’re so happy to help out in this way and have our staff once again shown the same drive and commitment to raise funds for charity as they do in their day-to-day work lives.”
Earlier this year a group from the firm abseiled from the Forth Rail Bridge to raise over £3,000 for Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.
Gilson Gray also raised an incredible £82,450 at its third annual ‘GRACE Banquet’, a black tie event with more than 300 guests from across the Scottish business community, for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC) and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity (GCHC).
