It will be presented by speaker Struan Ferguson Thursday 26 September at 5.30 pm at the RFPG Hall. Mr Ferguson is the chair of the Scottish Conveyancers Forum, which is responsible for updating the SSC.

An AGM lasting only a few minutes will precede the seminar to vote in a new committee to replace the old committee who are resigning due to retirement and retirement planning. Failing the creation of a new committee it will vote on dissolution.

Ian Ferguson, present secretary and treasurer, said: “It would be a pity to see the GCF dissolve when it appears that it is still relevant and can provide seminars of this quality.

“At this stage we have 2 applicants for general committee members and some interest in but no applicants for the posts of chair and secretary/treasurer.
