Greg Peebles joins Gillespie Macandrew
Greg Peebles joins the firm as a partner as Gillespie Macandrew continues to grow its capacity and client base in the West of Scotland.
Mr Peebles was previously a key member of DWF’s retail estate finance team in Scotland. He has experience with banks and other niche lenders on projects including the development of a major international hotel, Business Premises Renovation Allowance (BPRA) schemes and the Scottish security documentation for the Edinburgh Airport Limited acquisition. More recently, he has focused on the healthcare and student accommodation sectors.
He is experienced in acting for landlords and corporate occupiers in the office, business park and industrial sectors and in dealing with residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. He has acted for companies including household names such as Starbucks, Halfords, New Look, Habitat, Benetton and Paddy Power.
Mr Peebles also worked in Dubai and was part of a legal team advising government departments on number of major residential and commercial property schemes, including Jumeirah Lake Towers and The Palm, Jumeirah. He also advised IFA Hotels and Resorts in respect of residential serviced apartments in Laguna Tower, Dubai.
