Harper Macleod continues partnership with leading Paralympian
Paralympian Samantha ‘Sammi’ Kinghorn, Scotland’s leading wheelchair racer, has signed up as Harper Macleod’s Athlete Ambassador for the fourth year in a row.
The firm’s relationship with Sammi began after the firm became legal advisers to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and they supported the then 17-year-old as she prepared for her first major international event.
Sammi said: “I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without all the help and support I’ve received from Harper Macleod and I’m extremely grateful that they are continuing to back me.
“I feel like part of the firm and as well as loving the fact that Team HM across the country is cheering me on, it has been a great learning experience to carry out the ambassador role.
“I’ve grown a lot on and off the track since we began and hopefully the next year will bring even more great experiences for us all.”
Martin Darroch, chief executive of Harper Macleod, called her a “tremendous ambassador for the firm”.
Mr Darroch added added: “The next year will be significant for Sammi and we know that, in terms of travel, equipment and training, it involves a huge commitment from her and her family.
“However, she is completely driven to succeed and we are delighted to continue to support her as she strives to achieve even more.”
