This appointment saw the firm win a place on the new framework to advise both Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council, as well as being reappointed to advise five other local authorities - Highland Council, Shetland Islands Council, Orkney Islands Council, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and Moray Council.

The framework runs initially for two years and will see firms on the panel provide commercial, regulatory and dispute resolution services to the local authorities.

The new contract means that Harper Macleod is currently appointed to act for 24 of the country’s 32 local authorities.
