Harper Macleod partner Paula Skinner named in UK’s Hot 100 lawyers
She is also recognised as one of Scotland’s leading advisers on crowdfunding.
This year’s Hot 100 list, split evenly between men and women, included a wide range of practitioners.
The magazine said: “Skinner has carved out a niche for herself representing start-ups and high-growth and entrepreneurial technology companies.
“Her expertise has brought in so much of this type of work to the firm that she now heads the firm’s dedicated start-up and investment team. Watch this space.”
Ms Skinner said: “I’m thrilled to have been recognised like this, but it’s really a tribute to the brilliant team we have and the great clients and organisations we get to work with.
“This week also marks my 10th anniversary with Harper Macleod, so it’s a double celebration for me. I’ll be honest, I love my job and that’s because there’s so much enthusiasm around and businesses and clients willing to break new ground. Harper Macleod shares that ethos and that’s why we’ve been able to make our mark.”
