Harper Macleod supports Cash for Kids Mission Christmas

Harper Macleod proudly took part in the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign.

The firm’s collective efforts resulted in more than 100 donations, helping ensure that children, who might otherwise have woken up to nothing, experience the joy of receiving a gift on Christmas morning.

The Inverness office donated gifts to Cash for Kids Mission Christmas – North Scotland. This region received 3,700 applications for assistance, with 2,300 already honoured, leaving 1,400 still to be fulfilled. Every member of the Inverness team pitched in, collectively contributing around 40 gifts.

The Glasgow and Edinburgh offices also embraced the Christmas spirit of the campaign, contributing 55 donations and demonstrating its commitment to supporting children and families in need.

Karayn Chisholm, corporate fundraiser for Cash for Kids, said: “We are so grateful to Harper Macleod and all organisations who have kindly supported our Mission Christmas campaign this year. All gifts are going to children who would otherwise wake up to nothing on Christmas morning. Families are struggling for many reasons, whether they are living in poverty, are homeless or are fleeing domestic abuse.”

Jenna McLean, a senior associate at Harper Macleod in Glasgow, helped to coordinate the firm’s efforts. She said: “This has been a profoundly eye-opening experience. We are extremely proud to support such a meaningful cause and are already looking forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.”
