The Royal Faculty held a drinks reception this week to celebrate the honorary membership of the Law Society of Scotland given to Michael Samuel.
Mr Samuels is the only the 20th person to have been so honoured.
He was joined by friends and colleagues from his 50+ years in legal practice to celebrate the occasion. Tributes were paid to him by the current dean Stephen Vallance, past dean Austin Lafferty and Edward Laverty, the chief executive of MSHB.
