Industry recognition for Edinburgh lawyer
Caroline Pringle, a senior solicitor with Murray Beith Murray, has been selected as one of the country’s top 35 female professional advisers under the age of 35 by Eprivateclient and is the only Scot on the list. London and offshore advisers made up the majority of the nominees.
The 30-year-old, originally from the West of Scotland, lived for many years in California before returning to study law at Glasgow University. She joined the firm as a trainee in 2009 qualifying in 2011.
She is now part of the firm’s private client team and specialises in advising individuals and families on a broad range of matters, with an emphasis on succession and tax planning.
Ms Pringle said: “I am delighted to have received this recognition in the face of stiff competition from around the UK. Previous advisers who have made this list have progressed to be leaders in the private client field.”
Senior partner Hugh Younger added: “Congratulations to Caroline for this prestigious honour. We have invested extensively in private client services and this helps place the firm in the top tier of advisers alongside major players including London firms.”
This is the latest award for Ms Pringle who earlier this year also received a “Worldwide Excellence Award” from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
