Inspiring panel at SYLA event encourage women to be bold

The Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association (SYLA) held their annual Women in Law event last night, which was sponsored by Scott + Co.

Over 200 young lawyers attended to hear from Philippa Greer; Angela Grahame QC, Vice-Dean of Faculty and Dr Olivia Giles OBE.

Event chair Lucy Thornton told Scottish Legal News: “The inspiring panel encouraged young women to be bold, unapologetic, nice and supportive of each other, to let their light shine and embrace their opportunities.

“The event raised over £850 for Scottish Women’s Aid and there was a chance for networking over drinks and canapés to close.”
