Irish judge appointed to General Court of the European Union
Colm Mac Eochaidh has been appointed a judge at the General Court of the European Union for a term of office expiring on 31 August 2019.
Mr Mac Eochaidh was born in 1963 and graduated in law from University College Dublin in 1984.
He was admitted as a barrister to the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, Dublin in 1987.
Mr Mac Eochaidh was a judge in the High Court between 2012-17, in charge of the Immigration and Asylum Division from 2014 onwards.
