Jennifer Maciver joins Gillespie Macandrew family law team
Jennifer Maciver has joined Gillespie Macandrew LLP as a legal director and head of family law.
Bringing more than 10 years’ expertise and experience of working within the family law practices of some of Scotland’s leading law firms, she is a Family Law Arbitration Group Scotland (FLAGS) arbitrator and trained collaborative lawyer. Ms Maciver is also a lead tutor in family law at Edinburgh University.
At Gillespie Macandrew her focus will include financial issues arising from separation, divorce and parentage and issues relating to children. She adds her expertise to that of the firm’s for particularly complex cases, such as those where one or both parties have an interest in a partnership, company or inherited assets.
Ms Maciver also has extensive experience in acting for individuals where there is a cross-border/ international dimension and in cases where urgent, protective or interim orders are required.
