Commercial dispute resolution partner Gillian Craig, who has been with MacRoberts since 2002, and construction partner Jennifer McKay, who joined the firm in 2001, have been elected to the board following the departure of Euan Duncan, who steps down to focus on his role as chair of the firm.

Employment partner John Macmillan has also stepped down from the board after many years of involvement with the firm’s management.

This announcement comes following a prosperous year for the firm, which won the ‘Property Team of the Year’ award at the British Legal Awards in London in November 2018, on the same night senior solicitor Rebecca Barrass won the ‘Junior Lawyer of the Year’ award at The Law Awards of Scotland.
