Jennifer Wallace joins Thompsons as partner
Jennifer Wallace has joined Thompsons Solicitors Scotland as a salaried partner.
Ms Wallace graduated from the University of Dundee and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. Having worked in both civil and commercial litigation, she has extensive experience in appearing at court for clients and has become a partner in the solicitor advocacy team.
She has specialised in personal injury litigation for over 16 years, is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Specialist in personal injury, and accredited senior litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She has also taught professional communication at the University of Dundee for over 17 years and is the joint co-ordinator of the personal injury elective at the university.
In 2018, she secured the first Scottish reported decision for the application of vicarious liability of a self-employed contractor in the case of Grubb v Shannon (2018) SC GLA 13.
