Ledingham Chalmers’ managing partner Jennifer Young has been named an honorary fellow of the The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).

Ms Young, one of four new fellows, is a leader in the field of construction law. She has particular expertise in construction dispute management and resolution, and regularly advises on high value contractual and building defect claims.

She is chair of CBI Scotland, a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organisation), convenor of the Law Society of Scotland’s construction law accreditation panel, Secretary of Lawyers Associated Worldwide and sits on the board of Aberdeen-based charity Charlie House.

Karen Anderson PRIAS, president of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, said: “I am delighted to welcome our new Honorary Fellows as valued members of the RIAS.

“I would like to congratulate them and also thank them for their work in support of our mission to promote the value of well-designed buildings and places in Scotland.”
