Just Employment Law takes steps to fight pancreatic cancer
Staff at Just Employment Law are walking four million steps this month to raise much-needed awareness and funds for Pancreatic Cancer Scotland.
The firm will also be hosting a “Purple Thistle Day” at its sponsored club, Partick Thistle FC’s home game against Greenock Morton FC on Saturday 9 November 2019, with more than 60 friends, family and associates of both Just Employment Law and Pancreatic Cancer Scotland attending for the day.
Just Employment Law has already raised over £90,000 for the charity this year via a variety of initiatives including its Glitzy Summer Ball back in June.
Managing director David McRae said: “As a firm we are very proud to support such a worthy and underfunded charity and stand with all those affected by cancer. Our own family has been impacted by this dreadful disease and our aim is to help fund PCS, increase awareness, and ultimately, to help improve survival rates.
“Thanks to our friends at Partick Thistle we will be changing their name to Purple Thistle for the day on 9th November and draping the stadium in purple.”
