Katie O’Neill brings extensive experience in cybercrime training, having worked with Police Scotland in her previous role as cyber and digital forensics training lead, where she delivered advanced training programmes to equip law enforcement personnel with the critical skills required to investigate cybercrime, analyse digital evidence, and address emerging cyber threats.

She said: “This is an important new role in the cyber education landscape, and I look forward to applying my specialist expertise in cybercrime training and educational strategy to develop a dynamic skills academy that will enable organisations to upskill their staff in cybersecurity. With a rise in cyber attacks, it’s vital to stay aware of the latest threats and best practices to stay safe.

“My expertise in creating practical, hands-on training in areas such as Digital First Responders, Cyber Security Basics, and Cryptocurrency Investigations will assist in empowering organisations to stay ahead of cyber threats by offering targeted, accessible training that builds resilience and enhances cybersecurity capabilities.”
