Kenneth Campbell QC appointed to SCJC

A new advocate member has been appointed to the Scottish Civil Justice Council (SCJC).

Kenneth Campbell QC, will replace Kenneth Forrest, advocate, whose tenure is coming to an end, and will have a three-year term.

Chair of the SCJC, Lord Carloway, the Lord President, said: “Mr Campbell has already brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the (SCJC’s) Rules Rewrite Committee and I welcome him to the council.”

Mr Campbell is a former director of training and education at the Faculty of Advocates, and is vice-chairman of the Scottish Council of Law Reporting.

He joins Lynda Brabender as the two advocate members of the SCJC.
