Kirsty Noble joins Westcor International Limited
Westcor International Limited has announced the appointment of Kirsty Noble as senior underwriter and solicitor for Scotland and opens its first Scottish office.
Ms Noble joined Westcor from Blackadders LLP earlier this year and brings over a decade of experience as a practising solicitor.
She said: “I am thrilled to be part of the Westcor global group and to have re-joined the title insurance industry. Following its acquisition of Titlesolv in 2020, Westcor is building on Titlesolv’s established reputation within the Scottish market and to join the company at a time of such growth is an exciting opportunity. The UK, Ireland and wider European marketplace are, strategically, very important for the group. We intend to take the success of Titlesolv to the next level in Scotland.”
Ms Noble also spent a number of years as a commercial underwriter at another major title insurer where she specialised in underwriting high net-worth legal indemnity risks for commercial properties including renewable projects.
“I understand the important role title insurance plays in the conveyancing process and what solicitors need. My experience as a transactional solicitor and as an underwriter means I am uniquely placed to bring the Westcor brand and its creative title indemnity solutions to the doorstep of the Scottish legal profession”.
Chris Taylor, corporate development director of Westcor International Limited said: “We are thrilled that Kirsty has joined us. Her prior underwriting and private practice experience means she is well-placed to lead Westcor’s Scottish operation. To further demonstrate our commitment to the Scottish market and legal profession, we are proud to have opened our first office branch in Glasgow on 1st November 2021 and are looking forward to assisting our Scottish clients throughout 2022 and beyond.”
