Lady Hale to deliver lecture on role of Supreme Court in Edinburgh next month
The President of the Supreme Court is to deliver a lecture in Edinburgh next month on the court’s role as it celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
Lady Hale will deliver the 2019 Macfadyen Lecture, answering the question ‘What is the UK Supreme Cort For’?
The Scottish Council of Law Reporting established the lecture series in memory of Lord Macfadyen.
The lectures are by senior judges and lawyers on topics relating to the broad themes of advocacy, the role of the judiciary, and the development of law and legal techniques.
