Law Society of Scotland welcomes 65 new solicitors
Sixty-five solicitors were admitted to the Law Society of Scotland at the Signet Library on Friday morning.
As well as opening and closing addresses from Law Society president, Eilidh Wiseman, and chief executive, Lorna Jack, Jacquelyn MacLennan, partner and global pro bono practice head at White & Case, was the guest speaker on the day, speaking about the human rights impact of Brexit and encouraging new solicitors to commit to doing pro bono work.
