Law Society rises in Top 100 Inclusive UK Employers list
The Law Society of Scotland’s commitment to diversity and inclusion has been recognised with an improved ranking in the Top 100 Inclusive UK Employers Index for 2024.
The society has been ranked 76th in the 2024 list from the National Centre for Diversity, up from 84th place last year.
Law Society of Scotland chief executive Diane McGiffen said: “We’re pleased and encouraged with the progress we’ve made in the three years since the Law Society was first accredited by the National Centre for Diversity. This improved national ranking reflects that, on top of the Gold accreditation we received earlier this year.
“Colleagues have been central in leading and supporting this process, which is so important given the key point is to recognise and empower people. We know there’s much still to do, and are committed to continuing to strive for improvement.”
