Miss Scarborough, who begins the diploma at Dundee University next week, said she had “thoroughly enjoyed” her time working at SLN this summer and was “sad to be at the end of it”.

She added: “The team were all incredibly welcoming and made adjustments so they could still offer me this opportunity, despite the difficulties of recent circumstances. I would strongly encourage any student to consider this opportunity in the future.

“As well as finding it extremely valuable as part of my professional development, I have also thoroughly enjoyed it on a personal level.

“I would like to say thank you to the whole team, and, in particular, I would like to thank Graham for this opportunity, Connor for his patience teaching me in the early days, and Kapil for his continued support and guidance throughout.”
