Lawyers sought for student event at City of Glasgow College

An event to help students gain industry knowledge of the legal sector is being held at City of Glasgow College this month.
Emma Jackson, curriculum head for legal services, said: “We want real industry input on the skills that make for an effective employable paralegal, legal technologist, legal analysts, legal secretary, etc.
“If you work in a legal setting that recruits or up-skills employees this event will give you the opportunity to gain information on our Professional Development Awards, HNC/D Legal Services, Crown Prosecution Certificate and NPAs in Law.
“We will also provide information on ways to budget legal staff development, such as grants, scholarships and other support available.”
The latter part of the evening will see attendees to network and ask any questions about developing legal staff and will be accompanied by some refreshments and nibbles.
The event will be held on Thursday 24th October from 5.30–7.30pm.
