Legal podcast examines Cliff Richard judgment

In the latest edition of his podcast Pod’s Law, advocate Julius Komorowski discusses the recent judgment of Mr Justice Mann awarding Cliff Richard £210,000 in damages against the BBC, for their publicity of a criminal investigation concerning him, in respect of which he was later exonerated.

 

It has been suggested that the case might prevent publicity being given to investigations of historic sexual abuse, even where this is done so that other victims might come forward.

 

Julius explains why he thinks this concern might prove to be unfounded.
