Levy & McRae appoints construction law specialist as partner
Specialist litigation firm Levy & McRae Solicitors LLP has appointed construction law specialist Richard Barrie as a partner.
Mr Barrie - one of the most respected legal experts in his field - will advise clients of the 150-year-old Glasgow firm on on all aspects of the building industry from contract negotiation to dispute management.
He joins Levy & McRae after the recent Summer signings of Stephen Giusti and Professor Leo Martin as consultants following the acquisition of Glasgow legal practice Giusti Martin.
The Levy & McRae team was further boosted with the return to the firm of Tony Caplan who has re-joined as a Partner having left in 2003. He previously joined the firm as an apprentice and became Senior Partner.
Mr Caplan, who has extensive experience in private practice, specialises in matrimonial cases, particularly those that are high value or high profile, together with property and litigation.
