Lindsays announces director promotion within family law team

Lucy Metcalf, who has been a senior associate in Lindsays’ family law team since 2014, has been promoted to director.

Ms Metcalf has over 18 years’ experience in litigation, specialising in family law for the majority of that time. She advises clients on all aspects of family law, and has particular expertise in financial provision issues and extensive experience in cases involving complex business valuations.

Alison McKee, partner and head of the family Law team at Lindsays, said: “Lucy’s promotion is recognition of the quality of service she provides for her clients as well as her specialist experience in this area of law.”

Ms Metcalf was previously with Tods Murray where she was head of the small family team. Her experience also includes contentious civil court work, and she initially dealt with a wide range of civil cases including family, personal injury, property and private client disputes.

She has trained as a collaborative lawyer and is a member of Consensus, the Scottish Association of Collaborative Lawyers, and the Family Law Association. She is ranked as a “Leading Individual” by Chambers and Partners UK and is a trustee of Scottish Adoption.
