Lord Reed to deliver Aberdeen Law Project Annual Lecture
President of the Supreme Court, Lord Reed, is to deliver the Aberdeen Law Project’s Annual Lecture this month.
The subject of Lord Reed’s lecture will be ‘success in the law’. The event will take place in King’s College Conference Centre at the University of Aberdeen.
Emma Jamieson, co-student director, said: “I know I speak for the whole team when I say how privileged and excited we are that Lord Reed has agreed to speak on ‘success in the law’ at our Annual Lecture.
“There’s a lot to that phrase but, for us, a big part of being successful in the law is about using it as a tool to help better our local communities.
“That’s what the Aberdeen Law Project’s work is all about, and the event – which also marks the project’s 14th anniversary – will be a fantastic opportunity to highlight the difference pro bono can make, raise awareness, and help inspire people to get involved.”
RSVP via events@abdnlawproject.com by 27 February if you would like to attend the lecture.
