Lorna Hale awarded medical negligence law accreditation
Drummond Miller’s Lorna Hale has been recognised as a specialist in medical negligence law by the Law Society of Scotland.
She specialises almost exclusively in pursing medical negligence claims for individuals and has experience in a wide range of cases and in litigating in both the Court of Session and the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court.
Ms Hale obtained a certificate in forensic medicine and science from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 and has tutored on both the LLB and diploma at the university.
Drummond Miller partners Liesa Spiller and Darren Deery said: “We are delighted to add Lorna to our growing list of Law Society clinical negligence accredited specialists. Lorna has been an integral part of the team for a number of years and we are pleased that her dedication and hard work has paid off.
“Lorna always does the very best for her clients and is a real asset to the firm. She has spent a lot of time nurturing and developing the younger members of the team and our trainees. We are certain that Lorna will contribute significantly to the future of medical negligence claims in Scotland.”
Ms Hale said: “I am delighted to have received my accreditation, which demonstrates both my own and the firm’s commitment to a complex but hugely rewarding area of law.”
