Lynda Brabender becomes advocate member of Scottish Civil Justice Council
A new advocate member has been appointed to the Scottish Civil Justice Council (SCJC).
Lynda Brabender fills the post which became vacant on the appointment of Andrew Stewart QC, (Lord Ericht) as a Senator of the College of Justice.Chair of the SCJC, Lord Carloway, the Lord President, said: “Lynda brings a wealth of experience to the council, especially in relation to family law which will prove useful to our work.
“I welcome her to the council and am delighted that she will be able to start contributing to our work programme so quickly by joining our meeting to be held on 3 October.”
Ms Brabender is a member of the committee of the Advocates’ Family Law Association, and a member of the SCJC’s family law committee.
