Macdonald Henderson achieves doubling in size with latest appointments
Macdonald Henderson has achieved a doubling in size since its management buyout in 2009 following the announcement of two new appointments.
Victoria Lawson has been appointed as a conveyancing executive in the firm’s private client team, while Colm Kerr has been appointed as a trainee solicitor in the firm’s corporate team.
Ms Lawson joins the firm from respected conveyancing firm McVey & Murricane. She is vastly experienced in all areas of domestic property purchases, sales and remortgages, having spent the last 10 years as a key member of her previous firm’s management team and focusing on delivery of excellent client service, negotiation of property purchases and sales, and the maintenance of client relations and managing conveyancers.
Mr Kerr graduated in June 2016 with an Honours law degree from Strathclyde University. He carries out detailed contract reviews and diligence exercises as well as providing invaluable support on various acquisitions, disposals, investments and management buy-outs.
David Beveridge, managing director at Macdonald Henderson, said: “We are proud to welcome Victoria and Colm to the firm. We continue to observe opportunities for growth in our firm’s key practice areas, namely corporate, commercial property, private client and dispute resolution.
“These appointments mark something of a milestone, being the achievement of a doubling in size (in terms of headcount) for the firm since our management buyout in 2009. We feel well positioned to take advantage of continually improving market conditions and are grateful for the continued support of our clients, contacts and friends in business”.
