Macfadyen Lecture 2020 rescheduled for November
This year’s Macfadyen Lecture, which was to be delivered by Judge Tim Eicke on Convention caselaw in relation to the environment, has been postponed until November.
In a statement, the Scottish Council of Law Reporting said: “We are sorry to say, that in the light of the ever-growing COVID-19 restrictions on travel, meetings and events, the council have decided that it is best to postpone the Macfadyen Lecture until Thursday 5th November.
“We will email you again later this year to confirm that the Lecture will be going ahead, as planned, on the new date and hope very much that you will be able to attend then, although it is probable that you will then need to re-register to attend.”
